SUMMARY:Data-centric design and validation of collaborative embedded system
 s
DESCRIPTION:Abstrakt:\n\nEmbedded systems, i.e., computational systems that
are a fixed component of a technical system, are ubiquitous in our environ
ment. Recently, embedded systems have begun to communicate and interact wit
h one another, performing common tasks and sharing common goals.\n\nExample
s are fleets of self-driving cars or autonomous transport robots.\n\nIn the
design of such collaborative embedded systems, large amounts of context da
ta, representing incomplete and uncertain information about the systems's e
nvironment, is becoming more and more important. For example, sensor inform
ation from cameras, laser scanners, and other sensors must be matched with
internal maps and information from other participants to determine an optim
al route at every instant.\n\nIn this talk, we will sketch some design prin
ciples and challenges for the validation of such systems.\n\nReferent:   Pr
